This course is designed to prepare field qualified employees to be effective FTO/preceptors. Field qualified employees that successfully complete the class are not guaranteed an intern or new hire, however, completion of the class is a requirement for consideration of future FTO/preceptor duties.
This course is free to REMSA field qualified employees interested in precepting students or employees.
The course covers all aspects of precepting a student such as educational law, precepting adult learners, understanding the administrative side of precepting, and proper techniques of evaluation.
You are responsible for shift coverage and ensuring you are able to attend the entire day.
