The American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers Recertification course reviews core materials such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve-mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation. Participants will be required to complete a combination of hands-on skills practice, skills testing, and written exam to successfully complete this course.
Intended Audience: This course is intended for currently certified healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other allied healthcare professionals who are required to recertify a current AHA BLS certification.
Please ensure your certification is current and valid; expired certifications will not be accepted when you arrive for class.
There is NO online pre-course portion for this course.
