PALS is designed to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes.
Audience: Pediatricians, emergency physicians, family physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.
Required Materials: Bring a current PALS Provider Manual and completed pre-test certificate. Manuals are available for $58 at REMSA Education (shipping available for a fee). eBooks (cannot be used during final exam) https://ebooks.heart.org.
Prerequisites: Current BLS CPR certification and a passing PALS Precourse Self-Assessment score (70%+)
This course requires a minimum enrollment of 4 students. If fewer than 4 students register, the course will be cancelled no later than 5:00pm 2-days before your class.
