Join REMSA Health for a fun, hands-on, community event celebrating National Stop the Bleed day!
Receive proper training so you can be an “immediate responder” to help someone who is experiencing traumatic bleeding. Be ready to save the life of a family member, a friend, a colleague or a stranger.
The Stop the Bleed Coalition’s “Essentials of Stop the Bleed” course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to life-threatening bleeding emergencies. The training consists of a 60-minute session, including a lecture and hands-on skills training, and 30 minutes of additional time for questions and extra skills practice.
This course is open to adults and children 10 years and older, accompanied by an adult. Please note, there are some images in the course PowerPoint that may be considered graphic, as well as simulated bleeding included in the hands-on skills practice.
